Twitter’s most liked tweet now belongs to Chadwick Boseman. Tonight, ABC will air Black Panther ad-free to pay tribute to the incredible actor. Following the film, Robin Roberts will host a special titled “A Tribute For A King” to honor our king's legacy. More inside…

We’re all still carrying heavy hearts after learning the news of Chadwick Boseman’s passing. It was sudden, so unexpected and shocking. Like a punch to the gut when you aren’t looking. It hurts. A lot of people are hurting.

That was proven to be true when Twitter revealed Chadwick final post is now the platform’s most liked post of all time.

"Most liked Tweet ever. A tribute fit for a King. #WakandaForever,” Twitter tweeted, confirming the accolade.

Sadly, the Black Panther star’s last post was the announcement of his leaving his earthy body attached to a black and white photo of Chadwick smiling. The statement confirmed the 43-year-old Hollywood actor lost a four-year battle with colon cancer.

Right now, the post has over 7 million likes on Twitter.

Adding to the outpouring of love and tributes, the blockbuster flim Black Panther will air on ABC, commercial free and in its entirety, tonight at 8pm EST.

This is exactly what we need right now...to see Chadwick as our hero. Black Panther became one of the highest-grossing films of all time and the first superhero movie to be nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars.

Immediately following the film, Robin Roberts will host a ABC News special titled “Chadwick Boseman – A Tribute for a King.” Peep the teaser below:

Rest well, King!
