Nicole Ari Parker Completes 'Sex And The City's' Fabulous Four For The Revival

It's official! Nicole Ari Parker is starring in the upcoming Sex And The City revival, replacing Kim Cattrall who decided not to return to the classic series. Check out the reboot's first flicks and more inside...

And just like that, NYC's fab four is back...with a twist!

After news that Kim Cattrall would not be returning for the "Sex And The City" revival, fans were left wondering how the show would go on without one of the main characters.

Clues about what's to come on the forthcoming HBO Max series, titled "And Just Like That," showed up on Sarah Jessica Parker's Instagram account. The "SATC" star shared flicks all smiles with newcomer Nicole Ari Parker alongside longtime costars Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis.

Yep, Nicole Ari Parker is the newest member of the clique. Fans demanded diversity and got some. More about the other newcomers in a bit.

"Oh so fine. I'd sing along to 70's love songs with this trio deep into any night," SJP captioned the group shot, hashtagging it #MemoriesMonday. "I'll see you ladies tomorrow!"

Following SJP's post, Nicole Ari Parker reposted the set pics on her Instagram, writing, "These Beautiful Beings" and four lipstick emojis. "Thank you #SJP for holding the whole place together on such a long hot night."

Nicole Ari Parker is set to play a character named Lisa Todd Wexley, who is described as "a Park Avenue mother of three" that's closely linked to the other three ladies. It appears we won't find out how she's connected to them until she's introduced on the show.

"And Just Like That" will chronicle the lives of beloved "SATC" characters Carrie Bradshaw (Parker), Miranda Hobbes (Nixon), and Charlotte York-Goldenblatt (Davis) as they navigate love, friendships, and life in their 50s. This should be good. It'll be interesting to see how they've matured.

Other "SATC" vets Chris Noth, David Eigenberg, Mario Cantone, Willie Garson, and Evan Handler are all on board to reprise their original roles.

Entertainment Weekly reported more deets about the show's new cast mates coming to the reboot:

Other newcomers to the series include Sara Ramírez (Grey's Anatomy), who will play queer, nonbinary stand-up comedian and podcaster Che Diaz. The host, who uses they/them pronouns, often welcomes Carrie on their podcast, which showcases their outrageous sense of humor and progressive view of gender roles. Sarita Choudhury (Marvel's Jessica Jones) and Karen Pittman (The Morning Show) are also joining the cast. Choudhury will appear as Seema Patel, a single, self-made powerhouse Manhattan real estate broker, while Pittman will play Dr. Nya Wallace, who's described as a brilliant yet challenging Columbia law professor. There is no word yet on how they factor into the lives of Carrie, Miranda, and Charlotte.

Production is underway in NYC. A release date has not been announced yet.
