Plastic surgery.

It's a hot topic these days, especially with the rise of celebrities and "IG models" taking over social media timelines with body shots. Their bodies look perfect as they pose it up in front of a perfect background that gives great aesthetic pleasure.

Often times, IG models/influencers and celebrities will post up videos of themselves working out in the gym. They'll tell their fans they too can achieve what they deem as "body goals" just by putting in hard work.

However, that's not always the truth and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star Kandi Burruss is ready to get REAL about plastic surgery.

The 45-year-old singer/reality star decided to launch a new series on her YouTube channel titled "Body Work." The new series comes on the heels of her most recent breast reduction procedure, which she chronicles in the first episode.

The XSCAPE singer said she was inspired to create the series because she wants fans to know the truth and to also help share information to others who may be thinking about going under the knife.

"I just feel like, let's be real with the people. Let's talk to the people who are out there being fans of us - let them know the real," she said.

While Kandi has been working on losing weight, she admitted weight loss did not reduce the size of her breasts, so she chose to seek out a surgeon to help.

"Let's not let all the other diets and stuff that I've done confuse you into thinking that that's what made my boobs get reduced, because it is not, honey!" she said. "I did have some weight loss. I have tried some juice fasts recently. Or, excuse me, juice cleanse recently. Yes, I did lose a couple pounds with that."

The mom-of-three admitted to undergoing several plastic surgery procedures, such as getting breast injections (an alternative to implants), Liposuction, two breast reductions, and a tummy tuck (after the birth of her son Ace). While she said she doesn't do much to her face, she did reveal she "tried" Botox before. BBLs are quite popular and trendy now, however, Kandi didn't mention if she received one or not.  Plenty of folks think she has though.

In the video, "The Chi" actress shared her breast reduction experience because she's "gonna keep it 100 with you," letting cameras follow her to her appointment with Dr. Chad Deal (who did Kenya Moore's breast reduction and appeared on "RHOA").

“He reduced these bad boys,” she said after having the procedure done. She seemed happy with, adding that her new breasts were “perky” and “smaller for sure.”

Now, Kandi is hopeful other celebs will began to come out publicly about surgeries they've had done. At the end, she said she'll share footage from one of her post-op appointments in another episode.

On the magazine front...

Kandi Burruss covers HelloBeautiful's digital cover for "The Fall Preview." The Grammy Award winning songwriter talks about how she decided to step outside the box early when it came to building her brand, specifically Bedroom Kandi, and making sure it reflected who she really is.

“People respect who I am and realize that I don’t really give a damn what people say or care to change my brand at all for anybody. What I do actually works,” she shares. “I represent most women. At the end of the day, as a lot of us are mothers, a lot of us are business women. A lot of us have sex. Like, why are we pretending that we’re not sexual beings because we’re a mom. Sex don’t stop just because you had a baby? Being sexy, shouldn’t stop just because you had a baby, like those things should still continue on.”
