Deion Sanders' Son/JSU QB Shedeur Sanders Nabs A 'Beats By Dre' Bag + JSU Players Rock Custom Michael Strahan Suits

Shedeur Sanders - freshman Jackson State University quarterback & son of former NFL star Deion Sanders - signed a deal with Beats by Dre, making him the first college athlete and youngest person to land a deal with the company.

Ahead of Deion Sanders' first season at JSU, former NFLer Michael Strahan gifted the team custom suits from his line of Men's Wearhouse collection to make sure all the players were fresh before their first game of the season. More inside...

College athletes have been getting to the bag ever since the NCAA changed its rules to allow players to monetize their image and likeness.

Now, freshman Jackson State University quarterback Shedeur Sanders - son of NFL star Deion Sanders - is the first college athlete (and youngest person) to sign a deal with Beats by Dre! And he nabbed the deal before his collegiate debut.

In the clip, Shedeur explains his decision to play at JSU, which is an HBCU. The ad was filmed on the football field at JSU.

“This one is for the culture, for my people, for the fans, for the boom,” he says. “This is what a quarterback does—takes the culture and amplifies it."

The young athlete announced on social media he would be playing at JSU last fall.

“I couldn’t pass up a opportunity to help level the playing field & pursue equality for HBCU”s! Dad I got your back!," he tweeted.

He signed with JSU to play for his dad and alongside his brother, defensive back Shiloh Sanders. We love to see it!

Watch his new commerical below:

Shedeur is the company's first college sports brand ambassador where he joins a talented roster of ambassadors, which include LeBron James, Serena Williams and more.

“I’m excited to be part of a brand that inspires and represents the culture in a positive way; and that’s exactly what I want to do with my career,” said Shedeur in a statement.  It’s an honor to be the first college athlete on their roster, and I couldn’t have imagined a better partnership.”

Speaking of the Jackson State Tigers...

Before Deion Sanders hits the field as the head coach of JSU today, the former NFL star made sure all of his players got fly before the game. And one of his fellow Pro Football Hall of Famers made it happen.

Coach Prime called up his buddy/former NFL player Michael Strahan to help him dress up his entire team ahead of their first game. Makes sense since Deion has always been a flashy guy.

Prime Time needed someone who's just as fly as he is to get his team right. Bingo! Michael Strahan. The "Good Morning America" co-anchor has a suit collection with Men's Wearhouse, so he donated custom suits from his line to the Tigers players and coaching staff ahead of their Orange Blossom Classic matchup against Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, set go down today.

"He's one of the sharpest guys on television, if not the sharpest guy on television," Deion said during a phone interview with Michael for Insider. "Please don't tell him I said that."

Oh, and Coach Prime is serious about not only looking good, but smelling good too. He shared a video of the players' shower and told them they will NOT get on a plane with him smelling bad:

After the murder of George Floyd, Deion Sanders was compelled to take his first job as a collegiate head coach at Jackson State University. Michael Strahan is an alumnus of Texas Southern University, an HBCU.

Today, Jackson State University will go up against Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University for the Orange Blossom Classic held at Hard Rock Stadium. Coach Prime is ready:

It's game time! Who y'all got?
