A horrifying video of a former NFL player attacking his ex-girlfriend has emerged. And the attack happened right in front of their 5-month-old son.

Over the weekend, Zac Stacy - who was drafted by the St. Louis Rams in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft - viciously attacked his ex-girlfriend/mother of his son, Kristin Evans, in front of their 5-month-old son. And the savage attack was caught on several home surveillance cameras.

The 30-year-old former New York Jets running back went into a jealous rage while visiting his son at his ex-girlfriend’s home in Florida on Saturday afternoon (Nov. 13th). Now, he’s said to be “on the run.”

A friend of Kristin’s took to Twitter to share video of the former NFL player punching Kristin in the head several times as she begged him to stop. It’s unclear what sent him over the edge, but the former running back was seen punching the woman before he grabbed her up off of the couch and tossed her across the room. He flung her body into the television then the TV fell on top of her. She tried to calm him down and begged him to stop, but that only seem to make matters worse. He threw an object at her before he stormed off.

The former running back can then be heard saying: "You thought that was okay? Like it ain't going to ruin a relationship and you talking bout' I'm destructive?"

WARNING! The videos below may be triggering:

”This happened to my best friend Kristin in front of their child,” the woman’s friend wrote on Twitter. “Now that a federal warrant has been issued, she feels safe sharing this. #ZacStacy is on the run from Florida in Nashville, TN. Please expose this monster and help catch him pt. 1”

Kristin also shared the videos on her Twitter, Facebook and Instagram timelines:

"No one should have to go through what I went through and then to have to fight for the law to protect them. It took 4 days to issue a warrant WITH VIDEO EVIDENCE. #zacstacy #kristinevans," she tweeted.

Zac Stacy is facing two felony charges stemming from the incident, including aggravated battery and criminal mischief. TMZ reports:

If convicted, the aggravated battery charge carries up to 15 years behind bars, and the criminal mischief carries up to 5. In the docs, cops say the woman sustained injuries to her face, torso, and legs. Cops also say the 65"-inch TV that was destroyed is valued at $1,000 ... and the baby's bouncy was damaged.

According to the friend, Kristen and the baby are safe and Zac is allegedly “on the run” and is believed to be hiding out in Nashville, TN. She revealed Kristin’s older daughter was also in the home, hiding in her room.

”Kristin and baby are safe. Her older daughter was hiding in her room. It’s just sad af. She is scared for her life so please keep applying pressure until he is found. The system is falling Kristin and I’m not going to lose my friend to domestic violence.”

The friend shared a text conversation between herself and Kristin where she wrote that Zac was going to kill her:

The altercation happened in Oakland, Florida where Kristin lives. She wrote on social media it took Oakland Police Department four days to issue a warrant.

”The Oakland PD officers that came to my house didn't seem to think this was a bad enough incident to make an immediate arrest or to file for an immediate warrant. It took four days of me calling people and an Orange County officer speaking on my behalf.”

"The Florida justice system has been failing me," she wrote. "I have filed police reports previously and the State Attorney hasn't picked them up. Other women fall victim to this everyday. Please call attention to the Florida State Attorney."

Below are photos of her injuries:

Kristin said she went to the hospital and was treated for a possible head wound, as well as bumps and bruises.

According to TMZ, Kristin filed a restraining order on Monday (Nov. 15th) for her and her son because she fears for her life, as well as her children’s.

"He punched me several times in the head! I begged him to stop because the baby was on the couch just a few feet from where he punched me," the woman wrote in the restraining order application. She continued ... "He then picked me up and threw me into my TV. The TV began to fall and he turned to make sure I wasn't getting up. As I laid on the floor he began to yell at me, telling me I'm destructive. He then picked me up off the floor and off my feet and body slammed me into our son's bouncy seat."

That's when she says Stacy said "I love you" to their baby boy, and bolted. In the restraining order docs, the woman adds, "I fear for my life and my children's lives."

Today, she took to her IG Stories to thank everyone for their support and she confirmed Zac still had not been apprehended by the police:

The former couple met in January 2019 as they worked together in Memphis. They didn't become romantic until later in the year. DailyMail reports:

Evans said that at the beginning he was funny, relaxed and they had a lot in common. Things started to go downhill after they had some difficulties in December 2019, when Evans miscarried.

"We decided to take some time apart then got back together."

Evans became pregnant in 2021 and Stacy moved to Florida in April, where he was managing a gym. She said that things have 'been a roller coaster' since then.

The incident began when the former football player visited his son at Evans' house at around 2pm on Saturday. The two had been living apart since August.

But once there, he began addressing her over an incident that took place in September 2020 when she and a financial advisor of Stacy's met with him out of concern for his mental health issues.

Several NFL players have publicly spoke out in reaction of the violent video, including Green Bay Packers receiver Davonte Adams:

“I’m not retweeting the video but ZAC STACY NEED TO BE THROWN UNDER THE JAIL. Any man that puts his hands on a woman is a coward,” he tweeted. “Can’t believe what I just saw.”

No woman deserves this.

We'll just leave this here:

The TransPerfect Music City Bowl has terminated their relationship with Zac Stacy effective immediately following the release of the video.
