Twitter Drags Timbaland Over Controversial Meme About Quincy Jones & Michael Jackson

Superproducer Timbaland has come under fire for a controversial meme he posted about legendary producer Quincy Jones and late iconic singer Michael Jackson. See what he posted and the reactions inside…

Timbaland has been causing a ruckus online with some controversial posts.

First, he got dragged for comparing The Weeknd’s new album Dawn FM to Michael Jackson’s Thriller.

Now, he’s getting dragged for another post involving MJ and legendary Quincy Jones.

The super producer put up a meme that was intended to motivate his followers, but it backfired. The post claims award winning producer Quincy Jones didn’t get his big break until he was 50 years old after he produced MJ’s classic 1982 album, Thriller.

”Quincy Jones started producing when he was a teenager but didn’t get his big hit ‘Thriller’ until he was 50 years old…You never know when your big break will come so never give up!, the meme said.

Social media didn’t waste any time to call him out over the meme, schooling him on Quincy’s accomplishments. Before Quincy produced Thriller, the composer/arranger/producer had won 11 Grammy Awards. He won the prestigious awards for both his solo creations as well as collaborations with jazz musicians - like Count Basie - and singer Lena Horne.

”The man won 11 Grammys and an Emmy BEFORE he did Thriller,” one Twitter user wrote.

The user above has a point though!
