  Somebody thought it was a good idea for Ray-J to cop his own reality show.  It's officially been green lighted and will air on VH1 in 2009.  And it's not just a reality show...it's a dating show a la "Flavor of Love".  The whackness has damn near peaked I see. Our sources in the production and programing deptartment of VH1 say no show title has been settled on yet, but it's definitely a go and they're casting potential love interests now.  Ew.   [Chris Brown and Rihann

  So we've found out why one of our fave YBF chicks actress Reagan Gomez-Preston (Parent 'Hood, Love Inc., Trois 3, etc.) has been M.I.A. for a while.  She tells TheYBF.com that her newest role is being Mommy to her 15 month old daughter Scarlett Annette:  Too cute.  She tells us that Mommyhood has of course been the reason she's been lying pretty low, but she still managed to be T.I.'s lead chick in his new "Whatever You Like" video.  She also has a new movie coming up called Dough Boys but its fate is unknown thanks to another looming writer's strike.  Reagan also dropped the "Preston" from her name recently.  And as for why, she tells us: "Although I've been married for a while, Gomez-Preston is my maiden name. And I always knew when we started having babies, everybody should have the same last name. So I dropped the Preston for work. Yeah, so I know I said Young Berg would never see the light of day on YBF again. But karma's a b*tch and it must be addressed. Young Berg, b.k.a. Light Butt, was arrested early this morning in NY on marijuana and weapons charges. This dude even gets arrested on wack ass charges. According to TMZ, Sources say a limo driver reported a dispute with five passengers, and when police investigated the complaint, they busted Berg and his buddies on a pile of charges. Idiot.   Halle Berry hit up the opening night of the 12th Annual Black Film Festival in L.A. last night.  She kicked it with John Singleton and looked fab in her little black dress.   And Lisa Bonet was spotted again in NY taping her new tv show "Life On Mars": Good to see Lisa back on the Tube.   More pics when you read the rest...  

Lisa Bonet is set to hit your tv screen once again. She was spotted on the set of her new tv show "Life On Mars" today: Today was the cast's first day at work and Lisa is playing a detective alongside Irish born actor Jason O'Mara. The pair filmed scenes in East River Park in Lower Manhattan. Good to see Lisa's back in the acting saddle.
