Alicia Keys is teaming up with jewelry designer Gisèle Theriault to debut her own line of jewelry called The Barber’s Daughter. More pics:

“I fell in love with the individuality of the pieces, but more than that, the words that were written on them really resonated with the songwriter in me,” said Keys. “I knew at that moment, for the first time, that through a whole other medium I would be able to spread inspiration and that’s what got me started.”

Keys said her mission is “to give people beautiful, unique pieces with messages that ignite them to find the best within” and that she has long wanted to get involved in accessories.

“Jewelry is a great first step,” said Keys, who recently started AK Worldwide, a company that will focus on her nonmusical endeavors. “I think accessories are exceptional, because it is a simple way for people to express their own style.”

On the docket for Keys, fashion aside, is her new album “The Element of Freedom,” which debuts on Dec. 15, followed by a tour in March. She is also producing a TV show, a film with Miramax and “Fela,” a Broadway show, which opens on Monday.

“The inspiration of The Barber’s Daughters is to provide tools for people to connect to their intangible beauty and strength,” said Theriault.

The line of necklaces retail from $85 to $2,500 and is also sold on thebarbersdaughters.com Web site.

Theriault said the name of the line emanates from growing up in the small coastal town of Cape Breton in Canada, where “a name meant nothing. Whose child you were was everything.”

Look who we spied.  Trey Songz walked in–hand in hand–with gorgeous NYC model/actress Tanaya.  They definitely looked like more than “just friends”, but she could just be his NYC plaything.  Y’all know how cutie Tremaine does…

Diddy’s first baby moms and now stylist Misa Hylton was spotted chatting it up with Martha Stewart.  Lookin’ good Ms. Misa.

And of course, Dirty Money chica Dawn was there for her “groupmate.”  She brought her Badboy boo Que along.

Rihanna sailed the seas yesterday in Ft. Lauderdale.  She went aboard a cruise ship to do her first ever cruise performance:

Looks like she had a load of fun too.

Then she was spotted at LAX late last night.  She arrived rocking John Paul Gaultier and looked a little wore out post-concert.  By the way, she just announced that she will be releasing a brand new 3 boxed set of her past 3 albums.  Gotta capitalize when you can.

Gabby Union was spotted leaving the paprazzi ub Mr. Chow last night in L.A.  Rocking something other than a little black dress for once.  She looks cute in coral.

And Chris Breezy faced the judge again yesterday to check in.  The judge ruled that Chris is doing “extrememly favorable” in his community service and actions post-Chrihannagate.

Foolish Friday begins.  Kandi Burruss had her TAGS boutique opening this week in Atlanta.  And of course, her Housewife friends Dwight, Kim, and Lisa came through to support.  But really Kim just wanted to come out to show off the phat new engagement ring she begged for from her boo Big Poppa:

Not sure who’s the bigger donkey–her or the still married Big Poppa.  She kept her hand stuffed strategically in her jeans pocket to show off the ring every chance she got.

Terrence Howard has called off his engagement to his actress fiance Zulay Henao.  He proposed to her in Prague a few months back, but now he tells media “that didn’t work out” and he’s now a single man.  Womp.

Word has it Rihanna’s on a divalicious firing spree.  A certain gossip source is reporting that she popped off on her driver in London this week for not being outside as soon as she walked out the club:

When Rihanna came outside from the club there was no driver. One of her entourage immediately started making phone calls trying to find the driver while Rihanna said, “Where the f**k is my car?”

A minute goes by and then Rihanna says, “I mean it guys, you’ve now got 30 seconds to get me my car or someone is losing their employment. I f**king mean it, 10 seconds and I get nasty.”

Driver apparently pulled up right then.  But no word on if she actually fired him.

50 Cent hit up “Chelsea Lately” last night.  He’s a funny dude.  Check the vid.
