Looks like Sasha Fierce will be landing on Gilligan’s Island…to play Ginger Fierce. Word has it that not only is a movie studio working to bring the 70’s hit show “Gilligan’s Island” to the big screen, but they’ve tapped Beyonce to play the swimsuit rocking vixen Ginger. Michael Cera (from Superbad and Juno) has been tapped to play Gilligan. I wonder what’s going to go down on that tiny ship…
Just days after 50 Cent was telling media sources how successful his reality show “The Money and The Power” has been–MTV gave him the ax. And it’s only halfway through the season. The show followed 50 Cent’s lookout for the next hip-hop mogul among 14 wannabes. The winner would receive a 100,000 dollars investment given by 50 Cent to begin his or her own venture. But MTV cited poor ratings for the cut. And they told 50 to GTFO.

And Saif supposedly paid MiMi the small fortune to sing 3 or 4 songs. yeah…I’d be holding her hand to help her ass walk too if her money comes that easy….

And that’s a wrap for ABC’s “Dirty Sexy Money”. One of my fave shows so I’m pretty pissy to say the least. Blair Underwood told media folks that while ABC is saying the “C” word, they for damn sure aren’t on the schedule for next year. So that means Cancellation. We reported a while back that our sources said the Disney parent company ixnayed the show and it only has a couple more episodes. So I guess it’s true. No more sexy Simon Elder for us….
LaLa Vasquez and Baby Kiyan hit up the Denver Nuggets game vs. ATL Hawks in Atlanta this week. They were there to watch Daddy Carmelo play.

Who told Lil Kim to travel to Amsterdam and perform this epic fail of a cover of “Disturbia”? Hot mess ensued all up and through her set. Something tells me this ish wouldn’t fly here in the states.

We’ve found out some exclusive tidbits going on in TV land. With all those cuts Viacom talked about making last week, it looks like BET’s gossip and entertainment news show “The Black Carpet” is dunzo. Toure, one of the show’s hosts, confirmed that it’s indeed over with. Interesting, since that was pretty much the only show on BET that wasn’t wack as all hell. Even though I don’t think people were even watching. Oh wells…
In other news, we’re hearing rumblings that the next installment of Bravo’s “Real Housewives” series will be deep in the heart of Texas–Dallas that is. We’ve also heard Houston is in the running too, but it looks like Bravo is leaning more toward D-Town. No word on when casting and taping will begin for the upcoming Texas Housewives, but we hear a Season 2 for the Atlanta Housewives is still a go…for now. There was also supposed to be a New Jersey Housewives installment but no word on whether that was made official. Texas housewives are something serious…so I’ll be watching….
I can name a few men who are about to lose their sh*t when they hear this. Lauren London’s new “Christina” character on the new “90210″ is supposedly bi-sexual. She’ll be the series’ first bi-sexual character and apparently the CW network won’t be skimping on the love scenes. While “Christina” was interested in “Dixon” (played by Tristan Wildes) on the last episode, she’ll be showing her girl loving side when the season starts back up in a few months. Never thought New New had it in her…
And another one of my fave shows may be getting the axe. Rumors spun a while back about this show getting the axe, but they were untrue…until it got its official walking papers just this week! Sources close to the production staff over at ABC’s “Dirty Sexy Money” tell TheYBF.com that the show is being cancelled after this season is over. Apparently it’s due to poor ratings. Which means–no more hot, mean, and ridiculously sexy Simon Elder/Blair Underwood on Wednesday nights. Say it aint so!

And word has it B may be doing an appearance on an upcoming episode of the “X Factor” (which is the UK version of “American Idol”). Simon Cowell–who produces the show–says one of the finalists, Alexandra Burke, is a Beyonce stan and performed one of her songs last week on the show. And now they’re trying to get B to do a duet with her on the show as well. Nice.
