With trolls and targeted attacks at an all time high on social media platforms like Instagram, The YBF has become one of the latest victims of it all.
Unfortunately, Meta as a company protects anyone who files any complaint – even if it’s simply a targeted attack – more than the platform being attacked.

Our original Instagram page (@TheYBF_Daily), which we have had carefully curated and exponentially grown over close to 10 years, was disabled by Meta/Instagram with no detailed reason as to why. Without any means to defend ourselves to plead our case, as Instagram does not allow direct communication, we are left to simply hope we can restore our page soon and get back to kiki’ing with our almost 400,000 Fab Followers.

This is the most crucial time for Black owned media to have the powerful voice we’ve all earned, and we’re gong to continue to fight to not be suppressed. While our brand partnerships and advertising is heavily impacted by this disabling, we’re also heavily concerned with the quick-to-dismiss attitude large businesses have toward established Black media, powerful Black voices and small businesses. And we won’t stop fighting back.
In the meantime, please follow our backup & temporary Instagram page @THEYBFDAILYNOW to keep up with everything happening in these internet streets and the culture! We’ll also be posting more HERE on our website as well. Tell a friend to tell a friend – FOLLOW US @THEYBFDAILYNOW! We appreciate you, ALWAYS.
Stay fab, y’all!
